DOSHAS ARE THE MIRRORS OF YOUR BODY TO THE UNIVERSE 

Did you know that your physical, mental and emotional health as well as health issues are rooted in your biological framework.

And at the core of this biological framework are the three doshas- Vata, Pitta and Kapha, which are nothing but subtle energies of movement, transformation and cohesion. 

Vata is the energy of transmission

Anything and everything that moves in your body is a result of Vata. Vata is the energy of movement. The flow of your blood in your arteries and veins, way your food travels throughout your digestive tract, the information that your brain receives and transmits are all actions of Vata and known through cold and dryness. Vata creates the space and movement in your body and its function can best be seen in colon or large intestine, joints and nervous system.

Pitta is the energy of transformation.

Anything and everything in your body, that transforms from one thing into another is a result of Pitta, Pitta is the energy of transformation and is known through heat and warmth. The processing of food nutrients to make up your body, the enzymes in stomach that help the transformation, the sight or vision that we see with our own eyes, your body temperature are all actions of Pitta.

 Kapha the energy of cohesion

Anything and everything that joins, repairs, builds, grows and sustains you is a result of Kapha. Kappa is the energy of cohesion and is known through its cooling and nourishing action. The growth of your body, your plasma that has preparing factors, the body fat that insulates and protects you and the soothing and healing mucous secreted in response to inflammation are all actions of Kapha.
